About Us
We are the Texas A&M University - Kingsville student chapter of American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). This chapter is dedicated to providing Chemical Engineering students with experiences that will teach them something rather than just course work. It aims to help students build network connections and to prepare them for the real world.Through its activities, AIChE will help students build leadership and teamwork skills that will be useful throughout their career.

Poster Competition
The student poster competition is AIChE's annual competition where student members present posters on their findings in sustainability, catalysis and reaction engineering, computing and process control, environmental aspects of chemical engineering, as well as food, pharmaceutical, bioengineering, fuels, petrochemicals, energy, materials, separations, among other topics at the AIChE Annual Student Conference.
Chem-E Car
Chem-E-Car is AIChE's annual competition, engaging college students in designing and constructing a car powered by a chemical energy source, that will safely carry a specified load over a given distance and stop.
The competition, which involves multiple regional competitions and a final competition at the Annual Student Conference, increases awareness of the chemical engineering discipline among the public, industry leaders, educators, and other students.
