How to Become an AIChE Member

 

Becoming a member is very easy. First, come to one of our general meetings held every other week specified on the Calendar link above. There will be a sign in sheet and list of info to fill out such as your name, email address, and K Number. Once you have filled out the proper information, approach any officer after the completion of the meeting and discuss further action. 

 

To sign up for the national chapter of AIChE, you must be a registered member of the local chapter. Once you are an official TAMUK AIChE member, log in and visit TAMUK Collegiate Link on Blue & Gold Connection (click the "google +" icon below). Search "aiche" in the Organizations tab, and click Register. Now visit the AIChE main website (link  on our homepage), and register for free with email address and K Number.

 

To join our facebook page, click on the Facebook icon below and request permission into the group. 

 

Membership Dues and Fee: As stated in Article IV of the Constitution

a. Dues for new members will be $15.00 per year or $10.00 per semester, and if not paid by the 3rd meeting you will recieve no benefits from the organization and points will be frozen until dues are paid.

b. You can pay using our paypal below by setting up a free paypal account, or at our general meetings with cash. 

c. If a member shows up at the end of the semester during election season, they must have paid their dues in order for them to vote.
